A
freelance photographer from an early age Desmond went on to work in the
advertising industry in London with 3M award winning photographer, Rolf
Cornell, at SCL. After leaving London he managed a Studio and Laboratory
in Wiltshire before leaving to write a novel in Ireland.
Whilst in Ireland he was the
features writer for several magazines as well as the editor on the Big
Issues Cork Suppliment. His writing took him into theatre where he had
five plays produced. His first play, The Burning Spirit, was perfomed
at the Granary Theatre in Cork. Details of his other plays are being updated

"Under the Goldiefish"
On his return to England Desmond
went on to work with emmy nominated Director David Bowen-Jones and his
wife, Royal Television Society award winner, Rosie Bowen-Jones. During
this time enlightenment pictures were the animation and graphic design
company subcontracted by TV Production Partnership Ltd. Whilst with TVPP,
enlightenment pictures produced the graphics for many high impact corporate
videos for blue chip clients, numerous multimedia presentations as well
as handling the off-line editing and graphic design for TVPP |
